Htjela sam se okrenuti
da legnem na trbuh
ali u uhu mi se prosula zdjelica riže
pa iako sad vec posve mirno ležim
trska se giba

I wanted to roll over
to lie on my tummy
but a bowl of rice
scattered inside of my
ear
and although i am now
lying quited still
cane stalks are moving

kako dalje
ulazim u autobus na prva
vrata moja duga suknja ostaje iza mene
moje duge noge klupcaju se izmedu putnika
osjecam važnost
putovanja preko mosta ali i inace
trebalo bi dobro protresti
ceste, kolportere
autostopere
bicikliste, plavu pucinu
trebalo bi pjevušiti dok kuhaš
biti gol dok citaš
trebalo bi pustiti da prode
da produ mnoge stvari
pustiti da ostane
nešto pustiti i da ostane.

how to go on
I board the bus through the front door
my long skirt
staying behind me my
long legs curling up
among passengers
I feel the importance
of traveling across
the bridge, but to other places as well
we should really shake well
roads, newsboys, hitchikers,
bicycles, the open blue sea,
we should sing when we cook
be naked when we read.
we should let it pass,
let many things pass
let it stay
let some things stay.
